The Qur’an (Oxford World’s Classics)

Translation by Abdel Haleem.

I’ve read many translations, but this is by far the best one (in my opinion). The English is simple and easy to read/understand yet so powerful.

I like that its layed out in paragraphs- a story-like structure this makes it easier to follow.

The author includes footnotes and explainations at the beginning of each surah which I find useful.

A good easy read, for anyone looking for a Qur’an translation written in simple English, I highly recommend!

  1. It’s so incredibly refreshing to read a short yet straight to the point wonderfully encouraging post about a book related to the Deen (in this case the beautiful Quran πŸ’›βœ¨) thank you for sharing your thoughts on it ~
